Community Groups and Activities

Become part of a welcoming and supportive community

Our Community Groups, Clubs and Activities

At PramaLife, we’re all about bringing people together and making sure all older adults and carers in our community feel connected and supported. We run a variety of groups, clubs, and activities across Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, and East Dorset.

We aim to build strong community connections, making sure everyone feels part of a supportive network. We want to reduce isolation and ensure that everyone has a chance to be active, social, and connected.

All our groups are led by experienced leaders and volunteers, who create a welcoming and enjoyable environment. We know trying something new can sometimes seem intimidating, so our team is here to help you feel comfortable and find your own way at your own pace.

There’s a group for everyone…

Here’s a look at the different kinds of groups and activities we provide:

Crafting Groups:

Whether it’s knitting, painting, or other fun crafts, these sessions are a great way to get creative and make new friends.

Gardening Clubs:

If you love being outdoors, our gardening groups are perfect for you. You can learn new gardening tips, enjoy some fresh air, and grow beautiful plants.

Music Groups:

From singing and playing instruments to just enjoying music together, these groups are all about the joy of music and bringing back memories.

Games and Bingo:

Our games and bingo sessions are a lot of fun and a good way to meet people and enjoy some friendly competition.

Coffee Mornings, Pop-in Groups and Lunch Clubs:

These groups offer a chance to enjoy a delicious home cooked meal and good company. It is an opportunity to enjoy yourself and meet new people for a couple of hours a week.

Memory Loss and Dementia Support:

We also run special groups for people living with memory loss and dementia. These activities help keep the mind active and offer support for both them and their carers.

Carers Support Groups:

At our groups carers get the opportunity to hear about local support services and help each other; peer support is much valued by carers.
