Christmas Tree Collection – £10 Donation

This year we are working in partnership with local waste recycling company AMS to provide the best possible service to our customers.

"This Christmas, we’re proud to support Prama through our charity tree collection service. Thanks to our fleet of waste collection vehicles and partnerships with local recycling centres, we’re able to collect and recycle trees across the community — raising vital funds for a cause that makes a real difference."

Shaun Owen, Commercial Manager, AMS

What happens to the trees after they are collected?

After the trees are collected they are shredded using electric shredders powered by renewable energy. It is then processed into smaller particles before being stacked. The optimum environment is created which allows the bugs to break down the material to create the perfect compost, whilst meeting all compliance demands. After an 8–12 week composting and maturation period, the material is ready to be processed into its final products.

How does this service support Prama?

All proceeds that we receive from our Treecycling service will go towards Prama’s work in supporting adults managing ill health, disability or age-related issues and their carers across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and East Dorset.

How does it work?

We ask for a suggested minimum donation of £10 for each Christmas tree collection booked.

To book a collection, click on the relevant button of the amount you would like to donate to Prama for this service, add quantity to basket (per tree). Add all your details and then proceed to checkout to make payment. You will then be added to our collection service and your tree/trees will need to be left outside of your property on the evening of Wednesday 6th January 2027 for collection when we are in the area.
